Go to your local bank/credit union. Talk to one of the people sitting at the desks, ask them. They will give you a few ideas. Usually they have specific credit cards for those with no credit.

  2. LuckyThree Says:

It is possible. Consider these ideas to get started…

1- if you have a cell phone in your name you pay for, you are establishing credit.
2- if you are a student, there are several student credit cards that will help get you started with a low credit limit
3- you can always have someone co-sign for you to help you get going
4- many retail credit cards, such as Gap, Old Navy, Target, etc. don’t even check your credit. If you can open one of these accounts and make a few purchases, pay the balance off and repeat for a few months, you will have some credit to work with
5- Consider a pre-paid credit card. Those are like a debit card wherein you deposit cash and then spend like a credit card.
6- Even with no credit history, if you have a stable employment history, a checkng account with some cash on hand, you should be able to get approved somewhere.

    Good luck

  3. My Take on It Says:

Go to your bank and ask them if they offer a secured credit card
You will be required to deposit $300 or more and this will become your credit limit
After about 18 mos to 2 years of responsible use, you should be able to convert it to an unsecured card
There is NO way to build your credit FAST. It takes years.
