How much credit could I get pre-approved for with normal good credit?
Woodrow asked:
I was approved for a credit card with a limit of $1000. I have normal credit. I’m interested in starting a business, but I’ll need more money available to borrow. What would my limit be on one of those “pre-approved” credit cards with excessive interest rates that are available to everyone?

Economic times are very tough right now.
If you are starting up a business, do a little research.
Watch a little CNN.
People are not buying anything besides toilet paper and soup.
Consumer discretionary stocks have fallen as much as 70%.
If you are starting a business you need to make sure you are selling something people can not live without.
Talk to others that are already in the business – you need a mentor.

If you just applied for a credit card and got approved, you may find it very difficult to get approved for another card. People who open many cards are once are usually considered financially unreliable. It all depends on your payment history, credit rating, and current financial income.

it depends on your credit situation such as how many other cards you have right now. If you are just opening new cards their limits usually start out low and then increase with time. And another thing is that lenders keep track of the amount of credit you are applying for they are more leery of big limits if they see an increase in credit inquires.
