KAT188 asked: How is bad credit and good credit determined, and given my situation, how do I make it better.
Please help because I’m thinking about giving a credit card a try since people owe hundreds and thousands of dollars on them, and somehow continue to be approved. Don’t get it.

heather asked: I’m a college student, and I would like to apply for a credit card. I’ve heard of ridiculous interest rates and fees, and I don’t want either. I also only have student loans that reflect on my credit, but I’m not saying I have bad credit. What would be a good credit card for me?

twila quintana asked: My credit is around 570. I would like to increase it, but I was wondering what the cut off between “bad” & “not so bad, sorta fair” credit was, as I am planning on applying for a card to increase my score RESPONSIBLY. After paying off all of my debt ( which made me feel GREAT!!!), I need to rebuild my credit.
Suggestions?
Glen

sophia asked: I never had a credit card in my life before. I was always scared that I might fall under the bad credit before I reach 25! But now, I really need a credit card, but I want to know which one is the best one to apply for? I am also a full time student, so I don’t know if there are companies that offer a credit with help for a student.

Moris asked: When I go shopping, the store asks me if I want to save xx% off my purchase by signing up for a credit card. How bad will it affect my credit score if I sign up to get the discount. Pay it all off right away and canceling right after that? My first credit card received was in 2001 and I never plan on cancelling it.
How bad would it affect my credit score if I do it often?

love_earth22 asked: I am getting sick of my bad credit ruining everything I try to do. At this point I am finally able to pay off my debt in order to fix this problem. I have heard stories of people paying off their debt but the company leaving them as unpaid on their credit report. I DONT want this to happen. How do I go about paying everything off while making sure it is taken off my credit report for good? How long does it take your score to change after you paid everything off?

Sara B asked: I’m young (19) and have had some credit problems: medical bills, and also bills that didn’t reach me when I moved, so they were late. I’m on stable financial ground now and have heard that a credit card is a good way to repair my history- if I use it sensibly and pay it off every month. What is the best card for someone like me to get, and why?

rkwarner_warner asked: I’m looking to rebuild my credit, and a credit card seems to be the most popular way to get it done. I have had bad credit, and am now told that it is up to zero. What kind of card can I get, or can I even get one?

kit asked: I have a lot of credit cards to pay and always make the minimum sometimes a little bit more then the minimum per month. But I don’t know the difference between good credit and bad credit. Does bad credit involve not paying your credit? what is the difference between these two terms?
