heather asked: I’m a college student, and I would like to apply for a credit card. I’ve heard of ridiculous interest rates and fees, and I don’t want either. I also only have student loans that reflect on my credit, but I’m not saying I have bad credit. What would be a good credit card for me?

twila quintana asked: My credit is around 570. I would like to increase it, but I was wondering what the cut off between “bad” & “not so bad, sorta fair” credit was, as I am planning on applying for a card to increase my score RESPONSIBLY. After paying off all of my debt ( which made me feel GREAT!!!), I need to rebuild my credit.
Suggestions?
Glen

life asked: I just got my first credit card and it has a $2,500 limit on it. I have charged $2,225 on it. I will only be able to pay the minimum payment this bill cycle of $50. Though I should be able to pay it off in full by late September. In the mean time I need to pay some bills. Will I get a $2,500 credit limit the following cycle or just the remaining $275 until I pay the bill?

God Country America Bush Freedom asked: So my credit score is something like 562. I am looking to get a credit card with something like 2000 dollar limit or lower that wont have unbelievable fees. Does something like this exist? I’ve applied for credit cards over the last year and have been denied each time. Yeah, my credit sucks. What can I do?

I did this last week. My new credit card is showing the balances of the others, but the old credit cards are not showing that they’ve been paid.

*gYpSy* asked:
Once I get rid of the others I have, I want to just keep one credit card on hand for security and/or neccesity.
What’s a good credit to have with a company that is not known for being terrible its customers?
Thanks

M asked: I just turned 18 and want to establish credit for myself. I do not really know anything about credit. My sister’s boyfriend never got a credit card or anything, now he is 26 and has no credit.
How do I establish credit? Do I absolutely NEED to get a credit card? Which credit card is best for a student in college?
Right now I have a debit card with Chase, hooked up to my checking account. Does this give me credit?
Any helpful answers are very much appreciated.

georgie asked: I want to know if I have any type of credit score. I have a Credit Card and I’ve been paying it off, but I want to get an apartment soon and need to see what my credit is like. I just want an online fast instant check–for free. I’ve heard of it being done before, I just don’t know what website.
