I did this last week. My new credit card is showing the balances of the others, but the old credit cards are not showing that they’ve been paid.

Give me a reason why credit would be important if someone already had a nice house, a good vehicle and credit cards to back them up in case of an emergency.

How much of my credit card do I need to have paid to improve my credit score?

When I turned 18 I knew I needed credit cards to grow credit. When I reached the $500 limit on my first card and the $2000 limit on my new card when I found that this was not good for my credit. I hear that as long as you don’t spend more than half of the available balance your credit will be fine. Is this true?

I’ve always heard its good to keep your credit/balances at a certain ratio to improve your credit rating. What should mine be? I have 2 cards: one with a $200 limit and the other with a $250 limit. How much should i spend on each?

I have excellent credit, and I’m looking for a good credit card that offers rewards/cash back bonus and paying online. I’ve heard there are some good credit cards out there, any suggestions?

Credit?

OG stackadolla asked:

I am attempting to purchase a vehicle, but a problem than I have run into constantly is my financing history; meaning I have not financed anything over $1k. My credit history is good, I have about four credit cards that I sustain a moderate revolving balance on monthly. I have done well with them, but I have had one for 1 year, the next for almost a year, and the other two inside of six months. The auto that I am trying to purchase is around $8k, with one bank accepting me for a rate of 7% with 20% down, while all other banks decline my application.

I guess I have three questions =P
1. Why did this creditor accept me on decent terms?
2. How do I find more like that?
3. If I keep me credit cards in good standing, will that eventually solve the issue with my financing history?

Thanks

How can you get the credit cards to stop coming to your un employed better half?

redeyefredeye asked:

She has went bankrupt twice and there is nothing i can do about it. The credit report is in both of our names because the state requires it. You cannot stop her from getting credit cards and ruining your credit unless you get a divorce. I dont have a credit card and on my credit report there are 16 credit cards with 4 in default? I am sick.

At what point do your credit cards start hurting your credit?

CutieTM asked:

I have been told that to make my credit score higher, I need to reduce my credit card debt to 40% of the limit of the card. I was told that the card debt only begins hurting you when you go above that 40% of the limit of the card.

I just read somewhere else that going above 20% begins to HURT your credit score. Which is it?

What credit card out there has the easiest approval?

youresoscene_xxx asked:

I have some credit, but not a whole lot. My credit score is 628. I also have a delinquncy with Chase, which I am trying to pay off now, but I want to get a different credit card in the mean time to make payments on that to increase my score.

So what are some credit cards that will approve almost instantly with a credit score like that? I just want to get it to improve my credit.

I’ve applied for several credit cards and I keep getting denied because I have 0 credit. Meaning I have never had a credit card or done anything with my credit.
