Azzz doggg asked: This will be my first credit card.
I am not planning on carrying any balance. I just want to build my credit history. I am making enough money to cover any purchases and plan to pay in full each month, so I don’t really care about the interest rate.

teddy25252003 asked: For the last week I have been applying for a credit card and being denied based on my lack of credit history. My question is what can I do to fix that? If I were to get either a cell phone or a netflix account would they help contribute positively to my credit score?

piper32_95037 asked: I recently was denied a credit because of “Few revolving accounts opened long enough to establish credit history.” I do not and WILL not apply or own a credit card. What is the easiest way(s) to improve my credit without a credit card? Best answer will be given to the person with the best references.

natashaiera asked: I got a letter back and my credit score is only 665. I only have 6 months of credit history, but all of my credit cards do have a pretty high balance, although I pay them all on time and I just opened an account with AT&T last month. Is my credit going to stay this bad as long as I keep a high balance on my credit cards? Or is it just high because I do not have a lot of credit experience?

hop2seeu asked: My account was closed by the bank due to number of credit cards I have and high balance. I will be able to close all in 6 months. Can other banks close my credit card accounts as well? What is the best way to handle it?
Thanks for the answers but my problem is:
I have one card which was closed by the bank and limit on one other were reduced. I am afraid that this will create a “domino effect” and all other banks will start to close my accounts. How possible is this? Another question is: how bad will the effect of a closed account by the creditor will be on my credit history?
Thanks guys for your answers

Kevin asked: Every time I try to apply for a credit card I always get denied because I don’t have a credit history. Well, how I am supposed to have a credit history if I never had a credit card before? I already have a debit card that I use all the time and I always choose credit, but I guess it’s not good enough. What do I have to do in order to get my first credit card guys? Thanks.

Bryce asked: I always thought at 18 they love to give you credit cards, I’ve tried Capitol One, Chase, a QT credit card, and a Best Buy one. All deny due to no credit history. I obviously can’t get Credit history if they won’t let me have credit. I Work 2 jobs and just want to have one just in case and to actually build my credit. What’s going on and why do i keep getting denied?

Future Mrs. Jarvis asked: I’m starting a home business; what do I need to do to go about establishing personal credit. I currently have no credit history and therefore have not been approved for any lines of credit, inclluding gas cards. What would I need to present to a financial institution to try to begin to establish some positive credit history?

Kaytee asked: My current credit score is 745 and I’ve built it solely by using credit cards and paying on time (but never had any loans). Somebody told me that the abscence of installement-paid loan will prevent my score from climbing much higher. Is it true? Should I take some consumer loan to boost my credit score since I am planning to apply for a mortgage in the near future?
